Ok, so why am I posting a list of links here?
Well these are things/people/products that I fully endorse, and it seems that
everybody is looking for something “good”. This specific page harkens back to
the webpages of the 1990s – think of it as “retro”. But until I have some
time to make this website attractive, my entire website will remain “retro”! CutePDF
– Creates a PDF printer so one can “print” anything to PDF. (This has been around
for quite some time and with the new MS Office features, you might not need
this.) David
McCarthy Music – A fine composer with whom I spent a little time with at Houghton College
from 2004-2005. There’s a lot of junkmusic being
written now, but his compositions are both aesthetically pleasing and built
with solid compositional techniques. Dropbox – A utility for syncing
between multiple computers anywhere in the world – something like 2+GB for
free. (And by following this link, we each get a little bonus space.) Google
Voice – I was a little slow to get on the Google bandwagon (I think it
was Spring 2005), but they keep doing great stuff! Please check this out. Of
course, I’m sure you already use Gmail. foont.net
– Brian Ramsay, an excellent computer programmer and good friend. Jennifer Lynne Greene – Of course, my lovely wife, an
artist herself. PDFill PDF Tools – Do you know
how long I was looking for free quality PDF-modifying tools before I found
this?! Worthington Presbyterian Church – Lots of good stuff
going on here. |
